     History  |   In 1993, SuperCDA's Founder, Derek A. Ramel, introduced a new training camp experience focusing much of its time to one-on-one
                         instruction, skill development, innovative material and properly equipped facilities.  With so many coaches and athletes sharing this
                         vision, by 1996 the entire program included resident camps, private camps, special events and individual recognition.

                         In 1999, the Super Cheer & Dance Association broadened it's horizons to serve the large audiences you see today.  We continue to
                         be a driving force of creativity -- educating a new sport; preserving the art.

                         Derek's coaching success began in the mid 80's coaching his first state & national champion teams. In the early 90's, he shifted his
                         gift of coaching to the college level gaining more national recognition throughout those years.

                         By the mid-to-late 90's, Derek broadened his scope by consulting for several other colleges, high schools, all star teams & junior high
                         teams resulting in many first appearances in national competition, nationally televised exposure (ESPN, ESPN2, CBS, Fox Sports Net...)
                         photo spreads in national publications, coveted national titles and streaks of national rankings.

                         "D." has touched the lives of thousands of athletes and coaches. For 25 years, his influence has been celebrated throughout
                         the cheer & dance arena and many under his tutelage have grown into their own success -- choreographing, coaching, building new
                         programs, establishing local gyms and developing other services in the spirit industry. Currently, Derek continues to provide support,
                         knowledge and expertise to several organizations & school programs.
